A little. But there won't be much in advanced technology.
>See *Apocalypse*

I think it's enough in the future to allow custom weapons. Unless you guys think it'd be interesting to have it somewhere else in the future.

I only suggested the futuristic setting because of the pictures Mr. One put up.

Didn't see those .3.

Those images could work, the first one slightly less so as it seems to have a mix of fantasy as well as sci-fi, which would be rather different.

The second one is very nice, imo; it's on the ocean and it seems VERY packed. It'd probably be a bit more crumbled though, and less bright.

I wouldn't think that at the stage of the apocalypse that I'm thinking, that there would be entire outposts made out in the wild lands.

The main focus being on the colony ships to go out and find a new home, where there aren't zeds.

Not to be a negatron, but pictures don't make an RP unless those pictures have words and lore on them :c

A tad late, but.
How about instead of 'virus fungi something like that' zombies,
We do something like what Crossed did.

"The story follows survivors dealing with a plague that causes its victims to carry out their most evil thoughts. Carriers of the virus are known as the Crossed due to a cross-like rash that appears on their faces. This contagion is primarily spread through bodily fluids, which the Crossed have used to great effect by treating their weapons with their fluids, as well as through other forms of direct fluidic contact such as rape and bites, assuming the victim lives long enough to turn. A major difference between the Crossed and other fictional zombie or insanity-virus epidemics is that while the Crossed are turned into homicidal violent psychopaths, they still retain a basic human-level of intelligence: thus they are still capable of using firearms, motor vehicles, tools like bows and arrows, and of setting complex traps."
or yknow summin like that

Could be an evolution.

The early RP would involve basic zeds that are resilient; like standard virus zombies. While on the boat, mushrooms and other fungal food sources would mutate the virus, as those would be the carriers.

Perhaps the lower classes smuggled shrooms onto the ships and began growing them, not knowing that the virus was on there.

And, what with most of the people on the ships being immunized to the virus [to a degree] the virus is forced to evolve through fungal means.
Mutating into an aggressive fungus of sorts from the lowers... Meaning even more discrimination between the poverty ranks.

\o/ I'm gettin` all excited with this RP

Generally what happens.

Everyone gets all hyped up about it and then your only left with one or two dedicated people after a handful of days.

Honestly, I'm not sure. It might just be that it's too early in the morning for me to think of something.

Wait, what's the weapon situation onboard this boat? Are there any countermeasures?

(I'm back as well.)

Most rifles, shotguns, etc. would most likely be kept by some sort of security force. Maybe civilians can keep small pistols?

Well there certainly is going to be some heavy security but most will be overrun when the shit hits the fan. And yeah small firearms will be allowed.
