The first game I ever seriously got into was Rollercoaster Tycoon 3. While it might have been programmed by idiots (it actually ran pretty damn well on only 512mb of memory), it was actualy pretty good. Much time was spent creating sprawling parks over a perfectly flat piece of land, then proceeding to herd everyone down the central avenue and launch inflatable pool boats at them.

Though, then again, there was Gearhead Garage and that obscure Kombatkars game that I picked up from my local store for 99 cents. (It was 99 cents!)

First game I every played was Empire Earth I shortly after it came out in mid-2001; my brother bought it and let me play it sometimes.  I was really bad at it.  Probably because I was around 2 2/3 years old or so at the time.

When I was around six or seven years old, my parents got me Empire Earth: The Art of Conquest, which was the expansion that added three more campaigns and space-age technology.

I still play it every few months or so.

I don't know my first, but it's either Pokemon: Ruby Version, FORD Racing, or Dragonball Z Budokai.

The first game I ever played was an elmo game.

The happy days of being so young and naive and not having to worry about how games ran.

Ocarina of Time was glorious.

I think you're thinking Star Wars: Pod Racers?  It was for the N64, right?

My first game was an Elmo game to my family.
My first game was actually Army Men : Sarges Heroes 2
Fucking loved the shit out of burning plastic men and shooting their heads to see plastic bits fly apart.
I know the one part I remember is being in a fridge or freezer of sorts and having to kill a robot at the end. That was hard as plasteel...
