My school started up a literary magazine where students submit art. It goes through a board who approve it, and it then gets it's own page within the magazine. This is one of a few I plan to do for it. The style will be the same for them. One side having a more destructive view, the other a more heroic, or "good" view.
(Picture quality so wow. Much amaze.)

Oh that's awesome. Great job! Reminds me of Starship Troopers by Robert A Heinlein/Starcraft.

It looks like what an animator would draw...
Which is what you should do since you can draw fairly well in a respectively short amount of time.

It should, seeing as how NOTD is a custom game within StarCraft. :P

I also like my style. It is much me, and very I.

I suppose my only gripe would be that there's next to no shading, the only depth I'm getting is from scale, which you do pretty good.
But the shading gives a certain aspect artsy people call, quite professionally, the 'oomph' factor.
Looking at the pic, I don't quite get the 'Holy shit that's badass' feel, I just get a little 'Oh, that's nice'.

I can do shading, the problem is, I am not sure how good it would look. Good as in, with the style and all. I can try it out, it'd probably be very limited though. And it might not look good. There's only so much you can do with style, although your point is very valid.

There's only so much the excuse 'style' can cover :T
Not meaning to be mean or the like, just srs. There are somethings you can call style and somethings you cannot.
Most every 'style' has some form of shading.
It's fairly easy to look up shading tutorials on dev-art
Although, I learned shading from one of the most badass art teachers. Still, I look up how to shade metals, clothes, etc.
Your lines are also faint; and it's not because of the camera 'cause I used to use cameras to show my pics before :U
You can easily fix this by opening up the pic in a typical picture viewer and adjusting contrast and the like. I highly advise turning saturation off, making it B&W so you don't get weird colors like orange or pink in your higher contrasts.

A submission that made it into what will be the 2nd literary magazine. I heard a lot of people from the committee liked it, so it's going in as far as I know.

I like what I did with a lot of this, although the far right one has some issues with the feet. Namely the one on the left. Past that, I feel like my phone didn't capture the other two in focus as well as the one in the center, but eh. You work with what you got. Took roughly five hours, and there are technically 6 marines. 3 of them were erased and then redrawn into the above. If any of you played StarCraft 1, these guys should look familiar.

Very nice.  It looks like you've improved your shading, and the amount of detail you put into the armor is better than anything I've done with pen and paper.

On the Night of the Dead forums a few people made a point as to the use of the words "sneaking" vs "stealth/covert". If you cannot tell, I am on the sneaking side.

A dev responded to it, and he is the custom modeler for NOTD 2.

"err yea, kinda speechless here i was expecting some like mechanical back pack or item that looks really good and it literally is a cardboard box. Tell you what after we get notd2 up and running campaigns and all remind me and i'll do you a nice little box, every time you play notd2 can be from that box =). Any ways jokes aside get enough people on board with this and i will do it."

Okay so I just got a drawing tablet for my computer about a week ago, and it is getting to a stage where I am starting to like how things are coming out. (In the way by they look like people now, and I am getting used to the program I am using.) Clicky for full size~

About 6 hours of on and off working, most of it was just trying to find out what I wanted to do with 12 outlines. Lots of erasing and redrawing, but I had a lot of fun.
