Meh..

Post by Vero on Mon 10 Sep 2012, 11:31 pm

So I just sat on the bus today looked out the window thinking about zombie Role-Plays for some reason. Most of them we do are running and gunning ones.

So I had an idea that since none of us can really stick to the idea of not killing a dozen or so zombies every second in a Role-Play. I really just came up with a simple plot idea; ex-military troops are dispatched from human atolls in the Pacific to locate and extract any human survivors.

I was going to pair it with that zombie RP I found a while back.

Mahurrhurr. Sort of enhanced plot;

The Pacific islands; once thought to be of little significance. Now the last stand of man kind from the deadly Shock Flu. As humans teeter on the brink of extinction on the islands, hundreds, perhaps thousands more are trapped on continents infested with infected people, commonly referred to as zombies. In order for mankind to survive it requires a larger population; and for a larger population, those who are trapped must be rescued. And for them to be rescued, lives must be put on the line. And for those who put their lives on the line, they must have been able to do so in the past in order to do it now.

Eh. It would make a lot more sense if I also copied and pasted the zombie RP to it.

I'll get to that in a few minutes.

Welcome back everybody! For natural happenings, we have Mable to talk about it. Hello everyone and welcome to natural happenings. Today there was a flood in Africa, thankfully no one was hurt. Also, there was an unexpected meteor crash in Orlando, Florida. This meteor did not show up on any space telescopes, and somehow passed through Earth's atmosphere without much damage. We still don't know the damage caused by this event. Scientists have studied the meteor, and have alerted us that a strange energy radiates from it. Everyone has been advised to stay away from the meteor. Already, a few people have become hopelessly sick with a strange disease. More information on this as it comes to us.

*Static..Static...* and the evacuation will commence on January 2, 2011. Everyone who has the ability to evacuate has been extremely urged to leave on the chosen date. Also.. *Static*

That was months ago. The evacuation was not successful to its expectations. Only a few were saved, mostly those who were of great importance. The meteor had released a disease called "Shock Flu" Which would, on infection, cause almost instant zombifacation. This made the affected hunger for flesh, killing and infecting their victims. "Shock Flu" spread like wildfire, until all corners of the Earth were infected. But that didn't end it. The zombies grew, they learned. They found a way to coax the survivors from their hideouts. They ravaged the world into an endless chaos of death and destruction. Now only a few living people remain, scattered across the world.

Current known zombie list

1. Infected: The main zombies, makes up the bulk of the force.

2. Spiker: Sergeants of the zombies, inspire them and send them into bloodlust. Can be distinguished by spikes protruding from their back.

3. Tank: Huge, muscled giants with powerful legs and, most powerful of all, arms.

4. Soldier: Simple enough, your average zombified military personal, carries a firearm of some sort, a knife, and a bulletproof vest.

5. Flyer: About the size of a small child, their arms have mutated into wings and sharp claws. they travel in swarms and act as a siren by yelling out loudly when they see you. They are fast in the air, but weak.

6. Oblivion. Due to mutations through the zombies located close to the meteor, the zombies mutated into a large beast, capable of tearing through steel. They are large, just about 12 feet tall, and have 2 large claws made of bone. They give off an aroma that the zombies are attracted to, so if you see an Oblivion, most likely, you will see others too. The Oblivion could also run on all fours, and due to its mutations, it has a flap of skin in its back that when running through air, if it comes across a gap, the flap of skin fills with air and with inertia, it glides. All of these mutations make it nearly indestructible.

7. Scout: The name says it. A Scout is basically a zombie with slightly longer legs, it can run very fast and very quietly. They find out where survivors are and report info to other zombies.

8. The Redeemer: The Redeemer isn't a type of Zombie: It is A zombie. This zombie was an Oblivion before it wandered into a nuclear waste zone. It was mutated, and it took on some deadly changes.

First of all, it is almost the height of a house and is almost as wide with muscle and bone (!). Its arms are very large, and they have a series of razor-sharp spikes that are sharp enough to impale you if they stab you, or crush your bones if the arm hits you.

It is slow, but it covers a lot of area by walking. If you drove fast enough, you could maybe outrun it.

The Redeemer is almost indestructible. Bullets seem to have almost no effect on it. A large explosion is needed just to make it stagger. Fortunately, it is dumb, so you can lure it into a trap and hopefully get away.

9. Predator: This zombie is a killing machine. The hunters of the zombie race, these beasts are deadly. Large and tall, they are tough. Long sharp fangs and claws for cutting through flesh and bone are their main weapons. However, along their backs are small growths, which, when the Predator demands, will open and release a paralyzing neurotoxin, deadly to all but the Predators themselves. They are notably distinguished by their black plated skin, and roam the untamed wildernesses of continents. Not much else is known.
