The Vitruvian Dwarf

Mmhmm. A Dungeons and Dragons type CRPG set in a Medieval Fantasy Steampunk world. Quite simply, there will be two major Continents, one 'Civilised' Continent where everything is Steampunk and Brass and Science and such, and another 'Barbarous' World where everything is Medieval and Magic and Iron and Wood and all that jazz.

It shall be called... The Vitruvian Dwarf. And the Player Characters will be tasked by a very wealthy employer to find said Dwarf. If you want, post characters.

Lore will be revealed through Books and Character Actions/Backgrounds. Races are standard Fare. If you start with any Lore Books, I will send you their text. If you find any Book, I will send you the text. Battles will be decided through Dice Rolls.

I'll be using a mixture of Programs and actual Dice. I have some proper dice, but I don't have the ridiculously specialised kinds of course, so I need a Program for them. I'll be posting the rolls in the RP. For example:

Ahead of you a flag can be seen flying. It's hard to make out in the fog.
Roll 1/6 Perception, 4 needed. Player1 rolls 5.
But you can just about make it out. It's a bright, crimson red, with delicate golden inlays into the Fabric and in the shape of an octagon. It's tattered though, and you don't think most of the red colour is from dye. Bones trail from it, giving the delicate exotic flag a strange, macabre feel.
Roll 1/5 Lore, 5 needed, Roll 1.5 for Party Tied Highest Bonus! Player1 rolls 2, and Player2 rolls a 1 for a Total roll of 4.
All of you find yourselves puzzled by the strange flag, unable to truly tell what it is.

And in the case of Combat:

Player2 puts all his strength into a death swing at the opponent's neck with his Kukri.
For hit; 1/5, +2 Speed, +2 Dexterity, +1 Blades Skill, -4 Death Swing, 6 Required. Player2 rolls 1d5, with bonuses, Player2 rolls 6. Player2 hits for; 1/5, +1 Blades, +0 Strength, +0.5 Speed, +10 Death Swing. Player rolls 4 for a total of 15.
Target rolls for Neck Armour save, 15 needed to negate damage, target rolls 1/4, -2 unfitting armour. Target rolls 3 for a total of 1.
Player2 rolls Instant Kill chance. 20 needed for Instant Kill, 10 for Bleeding, 1d20 rolled. Player2 rolls 12. Player2 does not kill instantly, but target is bleeding.
Player2 hits Target for 14 Damage with Bleeding.
Player2's strike cleaves straight through the opponent's feeble neck armour, hitting straight to bone and leaving a deadly wound to a major blood vessel.
Target now loses 2hp every turn.

Arhant Malik is an Indian male, standing at 5'3 and weighing at 135 lbs. Despite the fact that he is short, he is quite athletic and strong, mostly up in his arms, yet he seems to have no muscles. He has tanned skin and a rounded face, with dull features. He is 31 years old and has hair that is to his neck, which is black by nature. His teeth are pretty meh, decent, and he has brown eyes.

Arhant was born into a family of former mercenaries, all of them having worked for and being born in the civilized continent. He is the oldest out of twelve children, not including his step-brothers and step-sisters, and has experience working and surviving alone and in a group of no more than five.

Arhant is dressed in very recently bought clothing actually. He is dressed in a brown dress shirt with straps on his back. He wears khaki pants that are a brown tint, and black boots. He has on a tan hat and on his back is a strap for his rifle. He has a holster for his revolver on his right hip and a kukri holster behind the revolver holster.

Arhant has three weapons for whatever situation is needed. He has a rifle, that has all types of gears in it to function. It is a semi-auto rifle, that is jet black for the handle and frame, while the functions are either tan or brass. He also has a black revolver. Nothing special about it. He also has his kukri, which was passed down generation to generation, and he got it. He is adapt with the kukri, flawless in combat in it. He is in search of the dwarf in the barbaric lands.

1 Dice Side in Strength lets you carry 30 pounds of equipment. Actively wearing equipment (I.e, wearing Armour and Clothing or using a Weapon unsheathed) reduces the weight of that piece of equipment by 25% usually.
1 Dice Side in Endurance gives 5 Hit Points.

Julian Millfield, often referred to as Julian the Drunkard or Julian the Wanderer. He stands at 5'11" weighing 164 pounds. He shows no signs of muscle growth, only slabs of fat here and there. His skin is dark and swarthy, like that of one that has spent far too much time outside and not enough time with soap. His face is fairly rotund, and with less definable features than that of a normal person due to excess fat. He has a receding hairline of gray hair, coming with his ripe age of 71. He does have an odd obsession with keeping his teeth clean, which he does a fairly good job at.

Julian was born a working class person, and grew up doing odd jobs and errands as a courier. Eventually he just packed up and left to see the rest of what the world has to offer. His mother and father are naturally deceased, he is a single child, and he is without a wife. Not like any woman would take him, anyway.

Julian is dressed in a thick tunic of heavy olive-hued linen with collar. His trousers are made of coarse cotton dyed a patchy brown and held up with a rope girdle. For footwear, he has wooden sandals with linen straps and foot-wraps of white cotton strips. Often, he wears a large, round bronze hat with chin strap and a large brim to keep off the shade. Also doubles as a shield in urgent matters, otherwise worn on the back when not in use.

Julian carries a variety of things, and tricks he has picked up on the road. He carries a walking staff with a brass bell on one end and a leather sling on the other, a leather knapsack in which to hold his items, and a leather flask on his belt in the case of an emergency swig. His knapsack contains the following: A journal, two flasks of home-brewed mead, one flagon of wine, one bottle of ale, and a multitude of small flasks which contain volatile ingredients that inflict burns, corrosion, frostbite, or electrocution. These he makes himself as he is an accomplished alchemist, so that he can make his weapons and his brews. The sling on his staff is used to launch this projectiles if needed, or he uses his hand. Julian can make restorative salves, but he usually doesn't.

As a traveler, he's also picked up a lot of talents. These include the art of buttering up to the right people and being a silver-tongued devil, as well as understanding languages. His travels also lend him much information on the workings of the rest of the world. He's a reader, naturally, and often borrows a book or two when staying at a town for a while. He never bothered learning how to write well. He can do the basics, just not fancy calligraphy.
